The Elmhurst Referee Corps will be holding U8 Official (8:30am-12:30 with breakfast and sign-in starting at 8am), Basic Referee (8:30am-4:30pm with same breakfast and sign-in starting at 8am) and "U8 to Basic Upgrade" (1pm-4:30pm) on Saturday, August 27th at the Wagner Center.  Many of our new referees from the 2010/2011 season took the half day U8 Official Course.  A "Regional Referee" badge is required for anyone moving from the U8 to U10 level of play.  So those folks will need to take at least the upgrade class. However, I would highly recommend taking the entire "Basic Referee" course as it will provide a good repeat/review of the basics of restarts and other material that will be on the test at the end of the course but which is not covered in the upgrade.
